What you’ll be working on
- You will handle your own portfolio of pursuer injury claims both pre-litigation and litigated.
- You will have a strong focus to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the team.
Day-to-day
- Delivering excellent client care to our clients who have suffered from a traumatic and life changing event.
- Instructions and meetings with clients and expert witnesses.
- Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation, and quantum.
- Drafting documents including statements, pleadings, and all court documents.
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.
- Optimising your client’s settlement.
You should apply if
- You have excellent communication skills including negotiation and objection handling.
- You can work with various software systems, case management systems and have good knowledge of Excel and Word.
- You have good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Even better if
- You’re confident developing your professional profile and that of Minster Law Scotland within the personal injury field.
